Lot's have tried and failed to topple the mighty Google, but this one caught my eye as having half a chance. Why? Well, they've already indexed 120 billion pages and are showing some decent results in searches.

Also, their board consists not only of ex-Google employees (including Anna Patterson) but also the founder of Alta-Vista, Louis Monier.

I'd keep an eye on this one - could get quite big...

Hi

Interesting, They do seem return more results than google, for example goggle return 3700 odd for my wife's working name whereas they return 9000 odd. and on a flick through it seems they have indexed deeper than google hence more results. Also the page layout is nice for the results

Yes they do seem to dig very deep ... too deep perhaps. Searching for my name it found postings to new back in 1986

It adds non-relevant pictures but finds 4,603,474 hits while Google finds 514 & Yahoo 480. To me Cuil seemed to find more useful hits (some that I had not seen before) and less of those associated with advertising. Interesting.

I used to dream about the Exidy Sorcerer when I was a teenager.

I'm not sure the name will catch on in Southern Europe.
