Hoping that someone can look into this issue.
Registered a few days back and have had an email saying that a sip account had been activated however, after attempting to connect using the likes of X-Lite, PAP2 and Pluscom VDP-1 but no joy. The response from the server suggests that theres a problem with either the username or password when it's being challenged...X-Lite responds with code 401 no matter what combination is entered.
Have tried using original password, a new password and a further password - no joy.
Have tried varying the username formats wilsbd {at} sip.voipuser.org / wilsbd {at} voipuser.org ....all to no avail.
Quite frustrating! Have managed around a year back to set up a friends with the same setup and it was no where near as frustrating as this time.... or maybe Im just getting old.
...forgot to mention that the account status is reading...'You are not yet registered for a SIP account with VoIP User.
Click here to request for your SIP Account and activate outbound PSTN access."
Any ideas...any clues server side? |
