kels: I've tested your account using sjphone, x-lite, and zoiper, and all of them work fine. Both with STUN and without. It must be something to do with either your softphone configuration, or your edge router is manipulating the sip/routing incorrectly.

I give up!

Set up a DMZ whilst testing X-Lite and still get 401 error.

With the DMZ off, using [user] {at} sip.voipuser.org I get a 400 Bad Request Error.

I've a feeling it's a sip versus web account password problem.

What firewall type does X-Lite detect? Currently I am not using forwarding but I am running STUN although it should not be needed. What version of X-Lite are you using (Windows or Linux)?

Can't find where X-Lite has the Firewall info, on either Windows or the Mac version.

I am on holiday at present and only have a Linux machine with me so I cannot check the current status of Windows using Voipuser (athough X-Lite was working when I was at home). Linux X-Lite does work on this machine although the echo server usually does not.
