Changes to BT Softphone
We’re simplifying BT Softphone from 28 May 2008 - free calls between BT Softphone users, SMS text messaging and instant messaging will be permanently withdrawn from this date.
You’ll still be able to use BT Softphone to make low cost outgoing calls from your PC, but you won’t be able to see which of your contacts are online.
We’d like to apologise for any inconvenience these changes may cause and hope you enjoy using the new, simplified BT Softphone. Please visit Support & advice for more information on the changes.
