I've been using VoIPUser with Trixbox for over a year with no problems. My setup follows the guide at http://www.voipuser.org/forum_topic_3302.html.
Unfortunately something has gone wrong with incoming calls. I have my DID set to 4484498xxxxx but callers are getting a number unobtainable tone. Outgoing calls are still fine.
Has something changed? |

Thanks. Just tried again twice at around 21:15 BST and getting number unobtainable once more calling from PSTN. |

hi wgs. you are not registering with our servers, so when an inbound call comes in for you, we cannot find your contact details. This doesn't prevent you from making outbound calls, as you are challenged for credentials at the time of making the call.
My guess is you are trying to register to an IP address of ours, rather than using the domain (sip.voipuser.org). We have changed our primary registrar and proxy recently, which fits with the timing of this problem. |

Hi
You might want to refresh your DNS in the Trix and gateway/router

Thanks. I changed my Register String from
wgs:xxxxx@voipuser.org/4484498xxxxx
to
wgs:xxxxx@sip.voipuser.org/4484498xxxxx
Trixbox now shows VoipUser as registered in Sip Peers but inbound calls are still not working.
The PEER Details, which have been working fine until recently are:
canreinvite=no
context=from-pstn
fromdomain=voipuser.org
fromuser=wgs
host=sip.voipuser.org
insecure=very
qualify=no
secret=xxxxxx
type=friend
username=wgs
Any ideas? |

Hi
Could start sip debuging and fire a call in so we can see what is hitting you ?

Maybe that your isps DNS servers have taken a time to refresh
