Outbound calls via my Linksys PAP stopped working throughout Friday 18th and again were not working yesterday 21st. Still off today, 22nd. I have made no changed my end, but the PAP device does not find a line. Tried resetting, but still not finding line. Connection via computer softphone (x-lite) remains operational. Do you have a problem? |

The voipuser servers have been undergoing very much needed upgrades. As far as I can tell they are completed now but there may still be a few problems. If your device was working it should still be working now. Does the Pap device work with other voip providers? If you were (it the device supports it) using STUN perhaps it would be worth trying another STUN server. |

Hi Ray
You mention that you have not made any changes, It may be worth checking that you had the correct settings to start with.
Our sip server address is sip.voipuser.org not an IP address or voipuser.org These would have worked in the past but now the sip server is on a new machine so you must use the sip.voipuser.org address in your settings

Hi Ian
No changes made at all this end. I have been using my device successfully for several months, with one glitch a while back which was resolved by you [a previous network upgrade]. I could see on Friday that your servers were down so did not report the problem. Since then I see your main servers are up but my SIP service has not resumed. My PAP says "can't connect to login server". I have a second line to another provider on the same unit that has remained working throughout. I can confirm tha the sip server address is set to sip.voipuser.org.

the last time I looked my credit was +10 units, but it now appears to be only 1 - seems a large drop for a couple of UK calls? |

PAP2 - no it is still not working. My X-lite on the pc using the same broadband connection is fine. Exiting X-Lite to avoid possible conflicts [there have never been any in the past] I still cannot register with sip.voipuser.org on my pap2. My pap2 continues to work fine with my sip provider in france [and I have swapped the lines over to check the hardware, and back again]. I can see no changes in my setup whatsoever. For whatever reason I am not connecting to server.
Hook State: On
Registration State: Can't connect to login server
Mapped SIP Port: 5060 |

If you have not already done so, try forwarding the required ports to your PAP2 (SIP 5060 - 5061 UDP and RTP 8000 - 8001 or whatever the PAP listens on). |

I've checked through our logs for the 23rd, and all traffic we received was from your X-Lite client. There was nothing from any other user-agent. |

This problem was resolved by Ian earlier today. There had been changes made at voipuser that required a complete reboot from cold of my system. Thanks Ian. |
