Hi

Im just interested in what 3G modems people are using ?, and also if people are using the "full" or easy desktop ?.
At the moment im using a nokia 6120 as the modem and this seems to work well, and having "upgraded" to the full desktop Im interested in what other repositories are using?

We don't even know what 3G is here! I use the simple interface mostly and change to the "advanced" one if I need it. So far I have used the default repositories or direct install. There is nothing much not already there that I need. I have Xandros (the old OCE version) on one older computer and it has been there for several years so I have had no urge to change it.

I customised the 'Easy' interface to suit my needs.
I find if I need more I've got to drop to the terminal anyhow.

Not had the need to look too hard at using my mobile as a modem yet, but did manage a bluetooth connection with a Nokia 6310
