Greetings Download

Welcome to voipuser, it's tempting to just point you at ...

And just say - there ya go !

But were there some specific problems not covered by the manual and the setup FAQ's on the Siemens website?

Are you sure you have paired the base and the handset?

It really is a question of reading the manual I am afraid, I understand the problem completely but you need to follow carefully through the steps.

For example, you must have the base connected to the internet
There is a wizard to do the connection

Starting the connection wizard
Precondition: The base station is connected to the mains power supply and the router. Your router is connected to the
Internet.
Tip: If VoIP (IP) is activated as the default connection for your phone (default setting page 26), the phone will attempt to make a direct connection to the server belonging to your VoIP provider after the connection wizard is closed. If incorrect/incomplete information means that the connection cannot be made, messages will be displayed (page 13).Note:
Your phone is preconfigured for dynamic assignment of the IP address. In order for your router to "recognise" the phone, dynamic IP address assignment (the router's DHCP server)
must also be activated on the router.

You really need to read P 26 as well ! Do you have any kind of firewall ?

The answer lies in the manual

but i m unable to configure this basestation

it gets ip from dhcp server 192.168.1.4 and i logon to this device then i go to telephony to configure the sip setting but i can not type anything there i should be able to type it via web if not via phone.

the phone is also paired with base station coz i can reset the base, change password of base via handset so it is connected to base and i can see the INT on the handset.

all i want i should be able to configured it via web IE since i can logon into device by ie i should be also to whatever i want...

please have a look at the picture .i don tknow how to insert this into forum http://www.flickr.com/photos/25377451@N ... 96/sizes/o

Hi

Where did you get this set from? and are you 199% sure its not a locked version ? IE it gets its config from a central server and thats why you dont get access to the congig pages.

Hi

I would say that its locked to them, many service providers will do this.
