more access lines for asterisk server (Inbound Nmbers)

Dear List,
any one could provide me the proper method to setup my access numbers for my asterisk server. actually my requirement is to allow prepaid facility through access lines(Inbound Lines) with authenticating users calls by ivr system. i need to setup 20 incoming access lines. what is the best way to do this..?

Hello, if these lines are you talking about are physical phone lines you need to have a gateway, or tdm pci card to handle the incoming lines. If you are using "lines" in terms of simulataneous calls over something like SIP, then any asterisk box on modern hardware will handle that. You just need to have a proper dialplan and peer settings.

instead of physical pstn line if i use SIP simultaneous facility, kindly give me the details of how do i setup my dial plan & hardware setup for 20 simultaneous incoming access lines..?
