ldap in asterisl

I tried to load the module res_config_ldap.so but it is not getting loaded,

i have edited the modules.conf and included the line
load => res_config_ldap.so
while starting the asteirsk, i have seen the following errors,
asterisk log message error :
[Feb 27 18:15:22] WARNING[4963] loader.c: Module 'res_config_ldap.so' did not register itself during load
[Feb 27 18:15:22] WARNING[4963] loader.c: Module 'res_config_ldap.so' could not be loaded.


could any one help me out to solve this?
