Anyone know of a way to get the phone to ring for incoming calls with a yealink usb b2k & voipbuster or any of the betamax services?

I am using voipraider & voipbustermate 3.0.2.48 and can't get the phone to ring when a call comes in. I tried using voipbuster instead of voipraider but it didn't work either.. I can answer the incoming call with the phone but have to hit # to get rid of the dial tone.

This usb box appears to be essentially the same as one that I have. It is designed to work with Skype and it does work quite well with Skype. The software (may or may not be available) will also work with SIP to make calls but additional software is needed if you want to use all the features with SIP. You could try this software for Voipbuster (voipbustlink) but I have never tried it myself.

yeah, I tried that version of voipbustermate also but that didn't fix it.. hopefully yealink will update voipbustermate. if I could find an older version of the voipraider or voipbuster software I am pretty sure it would work.

everything works great except for incoming voip calls being sent to the phone, when i answer an incoming call i get a dial tone and can hear the phone ringing in the handset until i press #

I have just noticed that the Zoiper soft client now supports Yealink chipset-based headset/USB phones.
www.zoiper.com
Perhaps it might be worth a try.

Hi
I have the same problem: my yealink device cannot ring for incoming INTERNET calls.
The problem is NOT the yealink driver, it is the latest Betamax software update.
In my case (using VoipbusterPro) version 4.0 Build 455 WORKS, while version 4.2 Build 488 does NOT work.... I had to roll back to previous version and refuse all "update" notices coming up on tray..
