Welcome to Voipuser.

I think what you are asking is covered in the 3000 manual. You can download if from the sipura website (in English).

http://www.sipura.com/Documents/SipuraS ... v2.0.9.pdf
and the FAQ
http://www.sipura.com/support/spa3000faq/index.htm

Exactly what happens to an incoming call depends on how you have set up your 3000 and what exactly you are asking it to do. Try to read the manual and FAQ to see if it gives the answers that you need.

The trouble is, if you are calling out on voip.Line 1 the PSTN line is not actually busy.

No, the point is that if you are using the voip on Line 1 the PSTN line is not busy and call in and out can still be made using it (I keep one normal phone on the PSTN line) so it is not busy.

If Line 1 is busy when a call come into the PSTN line (Line 1 and the PSTN line are separate lines that can be connected by an internal voip connection. If a call comes in on PSTN when Line 1 is busy then you have a number of options...

The option that you need is probably 4.13.4. It should send a "Call Waiting" tone as described in c) that you can respond (or not) to as would be the case with a normal phone it you subscribe to call waiting.

Tell us what you did. Call waiting should work as far as I know (I do not have it set on my 3102). You could perhaps forward the call to a free provider that will take voicemail (and add a message that you are unavailable).
