Code-named "Amphibian," the service transforms any physical phone into a physical/virtual "dual world" phone, enabling consumers to use their current phone plans in any number of new and evolving Web environments. Amphibian -- which will be available in the second quarter of 2008 -- is the first of many applications in a new technology category dubbed "voiceware."
