Sprint Wring Cash from VoIP Minnows

Troubled telco Sprint Nextel has decided to sue some smaller VoIP competitors in order to raise cash. As Gigom reports, Sprint Nextel are going after NuVox Communications, Broadvox Holdings, Big River Telephone Co. and Paetec Communications for alleged patent violation.
In recent weeks, disclosure of losses at Sprint Nextel were followed by 4000 redundancies at the telco, and last week further disruption with the firing of the CMO, CFO and President of Sales.
