AJAM looks like a great way to send commands to asterisk, but I have not seen anything documenting how we can receive the events from asterisk via AJAM. (I would be using an http enabled client application instead of a web browser which should give me more flexibility.) Do we still have to use sockets to listen to events while using AJAM?

Seems like it would be a very limited interface if we could not receive events with AJAM.
