i am now haveing a problem, which is stoping useing my nokia n95 as a useable voip phone, when i first register it to my asterisk server it will recive calls, it will make calls via it all the time, but then if you try and call it from any pstn phone or any voip phone i get sipsock_read: Recv Error: Connection reset by peer, but it will make outgoing calls, just not incomeing calls, unless i deregister it, and reregister it, now i am thinking this has to be a client issue, and X-light dosnt suffer this issue, it will ring in all the time, this is how ever a diffrent extension, but it will ring, so why is my primary extension that is on my nokia n95 breaking

any idears

The Problem Lies with Netgear Routers, for it to stay connected you have to tick the checkbox, disable sip alg

(info on sip alg)
Disable SIP ALG

Some SIP applications have their own way to work around the NAT firewall issue, and the SIP ALG would conflict with those solutions. In most cases, you do not have to disable the SIP ALG. However, if your SIP applications cannot work with the router, you can disable the SIP ALG and try the applications again
