I started getting the hang of it , but now I have a problem ... I managed to set-up and call-out , but nobody can call in ... maybe I have to setup both lines one outgoing and one incoming with the same number ? The number that I have is Incoming - Outgoing so I should not have this problem unless I screwed up something.

Thanks in advance for all info.

Er, what are we talking about here exactly... ?

A bit more info (your VoIP provider, what you're trying to do etc) would be useful Wink

What we need to know is where you are, where are people trying to call you from. Also what number series are you using to call incoming? Can you make incoming and outgoing voip call using other sip providers?

Do eurovoice give you a setting for "media proxy" or "RTP proxy" ?

Any support or help from the provider?

I'm in USA , and I can call with Eurovoice to Romania , but Romanians that call my romanian number from Eurovoice , get either a busy signal or telling them that the number is not in service.

Eurovoice told me to forward the ports to the router for 5060 ... I forwarded 5060 all the way to 5070 just to be sure Very Happy

I'll put all the settings they gave me :

2. Configure the SIP softphone with your account settings (Menu -> System settings -> SIP proxy):
- Display name: Euroweb PREPAID
- Username: 360719899 (In case you use a SIP Phone, or a SIP Adapter, please fill in the Authentication User field as well)
- Password: (Not disclosed)
- Domain/Realm: pp.eurovoice.ro
- SIP Proxy/Registrar: eurovoice.ro
- Outbound Proxy: sip.eurovoice.ro
- Always use Outbound Proxy: Yes

Account features:
- Your SIP address: 360719899 [!at] pp.eurovoice.ro (replace the [!at] with a @)
- May call to PSTN: Yes
- ENUM number 1: +40360719899

Maybe there is also the issue of a dialplan ?

I would like to craft a dialplan , but I'm a little limited in knowledge and still have to learn.

I have a VOIP provider in US , but I would just like to use the Sipura as an ATA for a home phone. I'll investigate later for Follow-me tricks on my cellphone.

Thank you in advance , John

Could you clarify what you mean by "Romanian number from Eurovoice". (For your information: Using PSTN phone I doubt if you can call the voipuser numbers from Romania). If you have a Romanian DID then you may be able to route it or perhaps not. The provider may only route to Eurovoice users via their charges call services. Your ENUM routes to sip:360719899@pp.eurovoice.ro which I suppose should connect to you but it gives an american "unable to connect message".

OK , but they say I should not have a problem on getting calls either.

Also they do not know much about Sipura 3000. I was just taking a shot at setting PSTN for receiving calls , but it is not working. Can I put as a Gateway ? Or other way ? I know that with a dialplan I should be able to receive calls even if I put another provider ( US one ).

There are a couple of issues here. First it could be that you are not correctly logging into your provider, so that is a question of checking settings at your end. In all probability if you can make calls out using the service then inbound will probably be working too.

Rather than struggle with this provider, why not do some tests with Voipuser, it is really why we are here. You can see whether you are logged in or not via the website and we can even do some simple diagnostics for you. You also have the forum Port Tester function to check what is going on.

Lastly you may find that callers to your Romanian DID are limited to calls from Romtelecom as not all operators in Romania (for instance the cable companies like Astral) allow calls to competitors dial codes - your inbound testers should try several options including calls from GSM networks.

First make sure that you can receive incoming calls from other places (pm me with your info if you want me to try calling you. Your ENUM fails). If that does not work then we will know that the problem is at your end. As well as the voip ports, if you are not using STUN, to need to forward some rtp ports (say 8000 to 8010 and these should also be UDP ports).

Gray , my reason of asking all these questions is because I was looking for knowledge on setting SIPURA 3000.

VoipUser at this moment does not have the rates that Eurovoice has for Romania ( 0.024 cents/minute and I have a Romanian callback number- the one not working for callback yet ).

I would love to work with VoipUser in the future, until then I have to stick with what I have.

Thanks , John

You missed the point 100% - Please do a forum search for Sipura there have been posts in the last few days on the same subject, do I read that right, are you really paying 24 cents per minute for calling into Romania or is it 2.4 cents?

2.4 cents is the right number. Do you have a better rate ?Smile

I will go read the posts , but the Customer support from Eurovoice said to wait for an answer from them , because they had some tech issues, and they will take care of everything.

2.4 cents looks good to me. Others I have looked at are more.

Voipuser is not a commercial provider and all we can offer is the ability to test and experiment. For that reason alone I was suggesting testing your equipment and setup info with Voipuser and not that you consider it as an alternative to a commercial provider.

Lets hope tech support at Eurovoice solve the problem for you. If their customer service is as slick as their company website then they should do well!

That website is a template that was improved ... I personally have a DB of about 1000 templates on all domains, and I'm pretty sure I saw something similar in my DB ...

If you guys want a template or two , I can give them to you ... anything over 10 templates I'll charge ( $80/10 templates ).

I will wait for more info from them.
