Welcome to voipuser!
I think you need to tell us a little more about the way your system is arranged (modem -> router -> network etc. ?). What model of modem.router do you have. Can you communicate using voip (probably running STUN)? |

I had similar problem with port forward tester, it was showing all ports failed. I tried port 5060, 80 and 8891; on the same computer I was able to use Xpro working fine with different VoIP services which are using these UDP ports. I also disabled my Norton firewall, windows firewall was already turned off. |

Can you try to perform the port forward tests on this computer? Also, on the computer that failed the test, can you try to install/run Xpro to see if it will work? |

Is the Port Tester log reporting that it's trying or failing at the server end? If failing then it's possible that the packets are not being sent by our server.
I've restarted the Port Test Server running at our end just in case (it falls over from time to time). So worth trying again now.

AFAIK, a fail on a port forward tester doesn't necessarily mean a fail for VoIP software running on the same computer. There are a couple of ways to circumvent this to make VoIP to work. Have you tried to run any VoIP software on your XP to see if it will work? If it doesn't work, can you try to configure the VoIP software using a STUN options approach and see if that will help? |
