I noticed that no calls have been recorded in reports for the last few days, it seems to have stopped working when I updated via the package manager. Is this a known problem ? Otherwise does anyone have any idea where to start looking. AFAIK everything is on current versions!

Is this in the Mysql records or the cdr records?

Check the ownership of the cdr files in /var/log/asterisk they should be writable to the Asterisk user.

If it is the Database, check ownership access rights of the database files.
The files should be available to MySQL user and group, but database permissions should be to asteriskusr

All the permissions look OK the database shows the last call is the same one as The reports Page in FreePBX, interestingly /var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv/master.csv is up to date.

I am still confused!

Have a look at the full Asterisk log file at where the CDR records are written to file and see if there is an error there

I'm having the same problem after updating to v1.4.x

Due to Mysql client libraries licensing, the Mysql billing application is no longer an integrated part of the Asterisk standard distribution. It is now located in the asterisk-addons CVS directory.

I have MySQL and the dev package but still having probmems installing the addons so i can fix the CDR.

This is what I found:
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+cdr+mysql

I tried to fix it and still having problems Sad

If anyone knows a fix let us know.

Thanks,

Jakub
