Hi -
I have a Linksys PAP2-NA which is correctly configured for my VOIP provider and has no trouble making outgoing or receiving incoming calls. The problem is that after a few minutes of inactivity the blue light on the PAP corresponding to the phone line goes out and I am no longer able to make calls (and presumably receive them as well). When I disconnect the power from the PAP it reboots the problem is fixed but only temporarily. I had the same VOIP provider, configuration, etc when I was in the US and never had this problem but am now living outside the States. Is it possible there is a 'time-out' or 'idle' that can be adjusted that I'm not aware of? Could it be my DSL connection or ISP provider? Appreciate any advice you all could offer. |
