Mobile VoIP company Fring just announced today new roaming features that allow a mobile user to switch between WiFi and 3G modes automatically, to use VoIP over free WiFi service wherever possible.

Calm down, though. Yes, I thought so too, but on re-reading, it only switches between calls. Now if it could hand-over seamlessly as you walked out of range of the WiFi, then that would be something really special.

The handover between Wi-Fi and 3G channels takes place automatically without user involvement, when the user is not on a call.
