Hi all,
I'm trying to find contact information for sipagate.
There are a couple of voip providers like http://www.mywebcalls.com and
http://www.webacall.com using their system.
I beleive Sipagate has programs for resellers I'm interested, but their web site is always down, or they don't have a web site.
I also found at http://www.myvoipprovider.com/Directory ... P/details/
that they are cheaters. Does anyone has more information ?
Or maybe do you know another company offering "white label" for resellers and so cheap rates ?
Thank you in advance
Fanis

Anyone that rips off someone elses name is likely to be a little crooked
Please note that the company in question is based in Russia and operating under the name of sipgatevoip - they are nothing to do with SIPgate, who are contactable at www.sipgate.co.uk

Sipagate.com is legitimate. They have been around for years. Mywebcalls seems to be their main outlet and Mywebcalls sell services for resale. I used them for a number of years as a simple voip provider. |

Thank you both for your answers.
Dean, I wanted info for SIPAGATE not Sipgate.
Dibsmft, you say that they are legitimate but still i cannot find a direct contact or a website. For sure they have a SIP proxy with that domain and customer pages like https://www.sipagate.com/customers/ and https://www.sipagate.com/callback
Maybe you are right, they are using Mywebcalls and Webacall for reselling. If you find direct contact info about SIPAGATE please inform me.
Thank you |

If you go to the website www.sipagate.com you simply get the response www.sipagate.com. There are web pages with billing info etc. I think they must just sell through MyWebCalls. MyWebCalls seems to be owned by Telecomplete http://www.telecomplete.co.uk/ who are an internet provider?. All I know is mywebcalls have been there for a long time now. The only problems I had with them was when they changed over to SIP and I had no SIP client that would work with them (qickly resolved) and the rates to Canada vary by province and to my province they are rather high. |

I have registered with webacall few days ago. Later I've found mywebcalls. Both providers use the same "control panel" - http://www.sipagate.com/customers/ The sip domain for mywebcalls (sipagate.com) and for webacall (sip.webacall.com) has the same ip. I have tried my log/pass on mywebcalls site and it worked :p
The rates are very low but different for webacall and mywebcalls. I think you are right - both are resellers of sipagate.
The sound quality for one of the two calls was poor. But I cannot say it is poor for all directions/termination - have no experience. |

Call quality (in my experience) is usually good with Mywebcalls, but as always with voip, depends very much on your high speed internet service and the load on the network. I suspect that the situation is the reverse of what you have stated in that Mywebcalls (and Webacall?) is simply the retail/wholesale outlet for sipagate (and owned by the same company?). |

Line1 of my pap2t is registered with a different voip provider. I have exelent quality calling the same number using this provider. When I've called using Line2(webacall) my pap2t showed G711 codec for the call, but as I hear there should be translation of a codec with high compression (G723 or G729) to this best (pap2t) codec. The problem is for sure is bad termination or transcoding at sipagate server. Probably I'll make a syslog to make a proper guess next time. |

Made с couple of calls to Sweden (Landline & Mobile). Decent quality.
The problem with poor quality when calling Russian numbers is most probably because of termination. |
