Hi Having just returned from the annual Summer hols, I would recommend "Just for Fun" by D Diamond and L Torvalds as an enjoyable light read.

Its gives a good insight into the creation and reasons for the OS most of us use.

It also gives an insight into the whole OSS movement and different movements behind it.

And more than anything it shows Linus is a normal guy.
