Hello,

I have been trying to get my Nokia E65 set up on a VoIP service. I signed up with Voipgo as my provider and they gave me the following settings:

SIP Settings
Profile Name: Voipgo Service
Service Profile: IETF
Default Access Point: My WLAN
Public user name: sip:xxxxxxxxxx@66.49.255.39 (xxx... is my 10 digit phone number)
Use Compression: No
Registration: Always On
User Security: No

Proxy Server
Proxy server address: sip:66.49.255.39
Realm: 66.49.255.39
Username: xxxxxxxxxx [!at] 66.49.255.39 (replace the [!at] with a @)
Password: (password they provided to me)
Allow loose routing: Yes
Transport type: Auto
Port: 5060

Registrar server
Registrar server address: sip:66.49.255.39
Realm: 66.49.255.39
Username: xxxxxxxxx [!at] 66.49.255.39 (replace the [!at] with a @)
Password (password they provided to me)
Transport type: Auto
Port: 5060

Now, whenever I try to connect to my WLAN, it says "unable to connect to the network". Then when I go back into the SIP settings, it says "Registration failed."

I am able to surf the web through my WLAN, so there is no problem with that. Could it be my router? I have a D-link DI-524. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated! Smile

Customer service had me go through and remove the "sip"'s from the addresses and change transport type to UDP, but that didn't seem to help. Could it be my phone?

Thanks in advance!

Unless your provider is stating your username is xxxxxxxxxx [!at] 66.49.255.39 then it is only xxxxxxxxxx, dropping the [!at] 66.49.255.39.

Also keep in mind the registrar server and SIP may not be the same. The registrar authenticates your account and the SIP handles the calls.
