Its still down

If you have decided to stop using this could I get the server app, and the source-code for the client app, or better, an easy way to change the IP for the server through the interface? This program has proven very useful to me for helping people with connection issues, and I havent been able to find a replacement when it is down.

We pulled it down whilst in the process of moving servers. We'll have it back down in a day or two.

Hi!

I just used pftlinux (alias testport for linux) to test a few ports (5060, 5061, 8000 ...) but got 'Failed' for all of them.

My Netgear DG834GT log doesn't show any warning for udp.

Voip under Fritz!Box fon ata 1020 seems to be working.

When I access 'My SIP Account' the following warning appears at the bottom of the window:
You are online with a AVM FRITZ!Box Fon ata 1020 11.04.01 (Jan 25 2006) device or phone at 87.xxx.xxx.xxx and you are not behind NAT

Forgive my dumbyness, but what does all that mean?

Thanks for your attention.
Ennio

It doesn't seem to be working correctly at the moment. It seems to always fail even on ports that I know are open.
Examples of log if they will help:

10/6/2008 10:25:36 PM : Connecting to server...
10/6/2008 10:25:36 PM : Connected to Server.
10/6/2008 10:25:36 PM : Sent request for PING on port 21 to server

10/6/2008 10:25:59 PM : Connecting to server...
10/6/2008 10:25:59 PM : Connected to Server.
10/6/2008 10:25:59 PM : Sent request for PING on port 80 to server

"Failed to connect to TCP server at VoIP Users"

Could it just be that 8585 is blocked in this network?
it wont suprise me if it has been blocked

or is your server down again?

i'm gonna try again when i'm home and send you the message when i get there

Yes, sounds likely. Not easy to change that server-side as we have several thousand users on this with the current port...
